Wilmslow ladies beat leaders Neston South Wirral 3-1 at Oakwood Farm on Saturday.

Ali Davies gave the home side an early lead but Neston responded to put Wilmslow under pressure, Sarah Dymond and Cat Lang defending well.

After Neston did break through to equalise, Davies responded to put the home side back in front at half time.

Wilmslow’s defence again proved solid through the second half, denying several short corner attempts from Neston. With 10 minutes to go Steph Ormrod sealed the win with the third goal.
