Wilmslow Cricket Club recently held their 65th annual dinner and awards evening in a memorable night at the Pinewood Hotel.

More than 100 people attended the event which included a meal, the presentation of awards and a raffle.

A special presentation of a pictorial history of the club was given to stalwart John Holt, who has been involved in various roles for each one of those 65 years.

The Rectory Field club celebrated the second XI’s promotion and the exploits of Elliot Rowe who took the league second XI batting averages, and the Under-15s’ championship in the Hi PeakLeague.

Chairman Mike Harding thanked everyone for attending and the sponsors and raffle and auction prize providers.
