ARE you a former resident of Wilmslow who has moved abroad and who wants to get back in touch with people still living in the town? Do you know of friends or family who have moved overseas and you want to try and track them down? Well here's your chance with our new interactive map ...
In this section, we're giving an opportunity for people who were parted when locals decided to make new lives overseas to make contact once again.
If you are an ex-pat, who wants to know the whereabouts of a pal or relative, send us the details and we'll post them up here. The same is true of locals - let us know if you want to get back in touch with a local who has left these shores. You never know - they might just visit this site, read your message and you could be reunited.
Alternatively, ex-pats can write to us simply if they want to let the folks back home know what they've been up to, how life overseas is treating them, and what they miss about Wilmslow.
All you have to do to take advantage of this service is to click here to go to our interactive map of the world , then click on the part of the map where you live. Your own pinpoint will appear which you can move to the exact location you want (use the controls on the top-right of the map to move around and to zoom in and out, right down to street level).
A form will also appear which will allow you to give your name, contact details, reason for moving and anything else you want to share with us.
Please note - this information will appear live on the site immediately and is not moderated. If you feel that somebody is abusing this map service, please click here to e-mail the web editor.

In the mid 60's there was an upstairs tea shop that "us kids" used to frequent in Wilmslow. I believe it was right on the main street...we'd have tea's and scones etc and there were windows that looked down on the street below. Does anyone remember the name of this place? Would love to have this mystery solved!

Aside from the beauty and clean environment of Bermuda, Hamilton, the Capital, is the 'Risk capital of the world' with companies there owning at least 55% of Lloyd's of London.
I now co-own a Business Travel enterprise for firms in the UK and Europe, that can save more than 50% on travel from Manchester, London and all over Europe to the USA with a minimal financial deposit.

I would love to have news of any of my old school friends who attended Chancel Lane CofE school from 1942-47. I still have regular contact with Neil Slater, Eric Swindells and his wife Angela and not forgetting Harold Horry who was Group Scout Master for many years. On one occasion I met Gordon Birch who was Head Postmaster at Wilmslow; maybe he is still around? Look forward to having news from some of the original inhabitants of Wilmslow when we called it 'the village'.

Many memories of our days in the bollin fields the R.A.F. camp and swimming at the waterfall off Wilmslow Park,
Also happy days at Chancel Lane School, Lacey Green School, various teachers, Mr. Gent and Mrs. Evans at Chancel Lane, Sam Burgess and Miss Hobbs and Miss Jaffrey and Mr. Walker at Lacey Green. Still have photo of cricket team with Joe Garner, Denis Morris, Michael Rigby Edward Wardle, Alan Hopley who later worked at post office with my brother.
Remember David Blair son of W.C. Blair from R.A.F station had polio and could walk just as well on his hands as we could on our feet.
The King family from Egerton Road, The Turners and many more.
Those were the Days.
