Three men have gone on trial accused of the murder of a schoolboy shot dead in a car park.
Giuseppe Gregory, 16, was killed after shots were fired at the car he was in outside the Robin Hood pub in Stretford last May.
Hiruy Zerihun, 18, of Lloyd Street South, Greenheys, Moss Side, Yaseen Kholwadia, 23, of Shrewsbury Street, Old Trafford, and Njabulo Ndlovu, 19, of Croydon Drive, Newton Heath, deny murder.
Manchester Crown Court heard that Zerihun and Ndlovu met at Stamford Street, Old Trafford, 50 minutes before the shooting. It is then alleged the men were driven by Kholwadia, a driver for New Moon taxis, in his cab to pick up a Tokarev handgun from Crumpsall.
Giuseppe, from Ardwick, was killed at about 11.50pm after a bullet from the Tokarev entered the rear window of the Volkswagen Golf in which he was sitting with two friends.
The gunmen are then alleged to have gone into the Robin Hood pub, packed with 150 revellers at a party, where they snatched a necklace from a guest before fleeing the scene.
Giuseppe was driven to Trafford General Hospital but died at 2.24am on May 11.
The Crown say the men in the dock can be linked to the crime by gunshot residue and mobile phone evidence.
All three men deny murder and possessing firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life. In addition Zerihun and Kholwadia deny possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
