He then struck 30, helped by Boyle (26 not out) and Potts (22 not out) as Newtonhurst reached their target with six wickets in hand on 106-4.

The match between AJK and Foresters had to be decided on the toss of a coin after the surface was deemed unplayable, victory going to the latter.

Sunday saw Friends reach 223-7 at Greengate thanks to good knocks from Qasim (63), Mosan (44) and Umer (43).

Clarke ended with 3-53 for Greengate who ended well short of their target as they were dismissed for 154, Imran taking 4-16 for Friends as Jackson struck 41 and Bailey 27 for the losers.

The semi-final draw gave Friends a tie against Foresters while Copthorne face Newtonhurst. The matches take place on the weekend of August 23-24.

Elsewhere, the Supplementary Cup final will be contested by Jay Hind and Radclyffe following their semi-finals.

Parth (40) saw Jay Hind to an eight-wicket win against Waterhead Methodist after Suresh (3-6) saw Waterhead all out for 74.

Radclyffe booked their place with victory via a bowl-out at Star Eleven where the ground was unfit for play.

The final will be on August 3 at a venue to be confirmed.
