A 18-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested following a traffic collision in which a teenager died.

Chris Mason, of Tame Street, Denton, was killed in the crash on nearby Manchester Road last Monday (February 1) after the off-road motorbike on which he was travelling with two friends collided with a car.

The driver of the motorbike received minor injuries and the other passenger suffered serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

A man was arrested at the scene and is on police bail until May 5.
