A FORMER club has been destroyed by fire.

Arsonists struck at the Waterloo Club, Stalybridge, at around 2pm on Tuesday, starting four separate fires in the derelict building.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze and it will now be assessed by dangerous buildings inspectors.
