ARMED men have threatened staff during an armed robbery at a pub in Droylsden.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at about 7pm on Wednesday at The Pig On The Wall pub, Greenside Lane.

Three men went into the pub armed with a baseball bat and another weapon and threatened staff while demanding cash.

The offenders took the money from the till and ran off up Springfield Road.

No one was hurt during the incident but the staff were left extremely shaken.

The offenders are described as white, aged 16 to 20 years of slim to medium build. One of the offenders was about 5ft 5in tall and the other two were taller.
