Well here we all are, Stockport County are now awaiting agreement with Sale Sharks before this saga can end, right back where this sorry story began with SALE SHARKS. They say what goes round comes round and this one certainly has. From a happy takeover with "Cheshire sports wanting to see both Rugby and Football Clubs challenging for honours" to trying to kill off Stockport County within weeks of taking over Edgeley Park, giving away the likes of Andy Welch for £15k, Luke Beckett for £50k and plunging the football club into crisis. So the supporters took over and proved once again that hard nosed business people would sell their own Granny for a quid, yes we got stitched up good and proper, only problem was that the Trust were to scared to tell the true fans what a cock up they had made of the deal with Cheshire Sports.
So once again we wait with baited breath, the season is almost upon us, we still have no manager, we dont have a full team, we've not sold any season tickets, we just wait while Sale Sharks circle around us waiting to devour us and all this is in the name of sport!
Irony is County have just won the Bobby Moore fair play trophy we are the fairest team in the land, Mr Kennedy should take note.
