A FAMILY were rescued from their burning home after an arson attack.

Firefighters had to help a man and woman, both in their 20s, and their child to safety at Clifford Court, Buxton Road, Davenport, in the early hours of Sunday morning (February 7).

Damage was caused to the entrance and hallway of the family's flat and a communal area.

All three were taken to Stepping Hill Hospital.
