A sexual predator who attacked a number of women and even indecently touched a female police officer has been told he is no longer welcome in this country.
Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court heard how Iranian national Habib Biroj 34, carried out attacks on four different women over a two month period.
His fifth and final victim was a woman police officer who Biroj stroked on the hand while intimately touching himself.
The officer had been sent to interview Biroj, who was in prison after being arrested for the other assaults.
Sentencing him, Judge Adrian Smith told him he had come to the conclusion that his continued presence in the UK presented a detriment to the public interest.
Deportation
"You pose a high risk of committing similar offences again, and I have no choice but to recommend your deportation" he said.
Biroj, of Tarporley Close, Adswood, Stockport, pleaded not guilty to five sexual assaults, but was found guilty by a jury after a trial in December.
He was sentenced to a total 23 months in prison, but the court was told he has already spent so long in custody, that he is now due for release.
Steven Wild prosecuting said that Biroj, who had to have an interpreter with him in the dock, always targeted vulnerable women who were on their own.
The court heard that he was arrested and charged after two women were assaulted in separate incidents in February 2009.
During the inquiry officers soon noticed he matched the description of a man wanted for a number of similar offences. They discovered he was responsible for two assaults in January and he was then quizzed by the WPC who became his last victim.
The court heard one of his victims was out walking her dog when he came up behind her and carried out an indecent act.
Biroj had been entirely uncooperative with probation officers, and had offered no explanation for his behaviour, the court was told.
Stroked
Judge Smith told him: "What makes me come to the conclusion that you really cannot control yourself is that you stroked the hand of a woman police officer in a sexual way when she was arresting you, while rubbing yourself.
"Your persistent and uncontrollable actions were frightening and upsetting to women on their own, and you were a complete and utter nuisance.
"Your unwarranted attentions have had a big effect on your victims, and though the police officer was made of sterner stuff, this was still very unpleasant for her."
Detective Constable James Campbell, from the rape investigation unit at Stockport, said: "Biroj is a predatory man who has absolutely no respect for women.
"He is an opportunist who, time and again, sexually assaulted his victims when they were alone.
"The fact he has targeted so many different victims demonstrates how much of a danger he is to women and I am pleased he has today been jailed."

No we don't, some criminals choose to come here, we don't import them, your statements are becoming more and more ridiculous.
And our governments dont protect us from killers and serious crimes like rape knife crimes or assualts. Ace Riley, outsidethebox
Yes they do, if you were actually interested in facts rather than fear mongering you'd see most types of crime have been steadily decreasing over the last 10 years. FACT
its time for a radical rethink on law and order and send a message out that thyese types of crimes will not be tollerated. Ace Riley, outsidethebox
What message is being given out that we do tolerate these crimes, I seem to have missed that meeting.
but we dont get governments with guts or the balls to get out of the human rights laws. Ace Riley, outsidethebox
Ah, those horrible human rights, how dare people hope to have actual rights!
Ace, you're a dinosaur and probably a pretty sad and lonely one at that. What with only the online MEN to keep you company.

Just stop to ask yourself why they choose to come here. They come because they know we are an easy touch, just look at the numbers waiting to cross the channel in France, they don't want to claim asylum there do they. Ever wondered why they want to come here?

They don't protect us if they did there would be much fewer serious crimes. I'm not sure I trust the government figures, after all Labour has a habit of changing the goal posts to make things appear better than they really are.

What a shame you didn't receive the invite to the meeting of the cabinet! When the government made the decision not to spend any extra money on prison places (and they did decide that), and abandonded any pretence they were interested in anti social behaviour. That's when the decision was made, a shame you missed it!
Ah, those horrible human rights, how dare people hope to have actual rights!
There is nothing wrong with human rights, but it has now gone too far in favour of the criminal. You must be a socialist Brooklands as you seem to have much more concern for the criminal, who you probably see as the victim of various things -family upbringing, society etc etc, and you don't seem to give a tinkers cuss about the victim. Well shock horror for you but some of us believe that the real vicitims of crime have rights which over ride those of the perpetrator.
Brooklands I would suggest that it's you that is the dinosaur, and you and your ilk will be having to look forward to a good few years in opposition.
That is if any government other than Labour can be elected now that Labour have made our democracy into something which would 'shame a banana republic.

Any other Country, even less developed then this would would have put this undesirable on a plane by now. I suppose if he ever was, they will want to stuff his pockets with cash. Enough to ensure he can just come back...

The bleeding heart liberal versus the right wing lunatic? If you actually took the time to read peoples posts before shaking your jowels and mashing your hands against your keyboard you may realise that at no point did Brooklands say anyhting of the sort.
You do realise that the 'Left' and the 'Right' are imaginary terms that allow us an expression of choice were really none exists.
We waste all of our energy pointlessly going back and forth on here, with the same tired cliches and silly arguments. If we wern't so distracted we may be able to stop people dipping their hands into our cookie jar.

Why are human rights a socialist issue? If anything socialism would call for the individual to give up their rights for the good of the state.
The ECHR was ratified in 1951, which famous non socialist was prime minister then?

Please can you show where I've said anything remotely like that? More concern for the criminal? No concern for the victim? Really? I said those things.
You should change your nick mate, thoughtful really doesn't suit you.

What a ridiculous statement yet again! Are the docks full of boats with the worlds criminals on? Manchester Airport is closed one day a week as airplanes full of gangsters and rapists on specially chartered flights arriving?
It must be awful to live in such fear everyday.

And would you care to actually answer some of the points I made about your post? No? Thought as much. All hot air Ace.
