The college provides further and higher education for school leavers and adult students.
Amongst the courses are a wide range of academic and vocational subjects from literacy and numeracy to degree level. One of the benefits of studying at the college is that there is a course for everyone, regardless of previous achievements and people can enter at any level.
Higher Education is becoming increasingly important and Stockport College realise this, offering local people ‘a degree on their doorstep.’ With a dedicated HE Centre, tutorial support, affordable tuition fees and degrees accredited by local universities.
The college has also recently developed an enterprise arm, ‘Stockport Training for Business,’ to meet the training needs of employers.
