GREGORIANS, looking to close out the season as Manchester Football League Premier Division Champions, were at Hollinwood at the weekend.
Gregs took a 25th-minute lead when Ben Twemlow opened the scoring with a free-kick from 25yards, only to see Hollinwood get back on level terms on the stroke of half-time.
Gregs again took the lead after 75 minutes when Lawrence Fishers netted, only to see Hollinwood score an equaliser with the last kick of the game.
Gregs must now get a further four points from the last four matches to end up as champions
Wythenshawe came home with three valuable points from their game at Royton Town, which leaves them in sixth place and there is a chance they will finish in the top four if results go in their favour.
Wythenshawe were 2-0 up at half-time with goals from Rob Kempton and Dave Carpenter.
Royton had won its last four games and the victory was a true reward for an excellent first 45 minutes by the visitors.
Royton came out after the break and immediately put the Wythenshawe defence under pressure, which held firm until the 75th minute when Royton got one back.
Despite further pressure the visitors held on to take the three valuable points.
