SALFORD scrum-half Richie Myler has turned down a new contract offer from the club, according to his agent Martin Offiah.
England international Myler, 19, is one of the hottest young properties in the game after bursting onto the engage Super League scene this year.
Myler, who joined the then National League Reds from Widnes prior to last season, is contracted to the end of next season but has been linked with Warrington.
Offiah told League Express: "Salford have made him a contract offer which he has rejected.
"As it stands he has another year left on his current contract, but that's not saying that things may not change."
Myler scored 30 points in England's win over France in Paris earlier this month.
Offiah added: "Richie showed against France what he is capable of doing when he is in a quality side surrounded by quality players.
"That is with no disrespect to Salford, because he is very committed to doing well for them but I have always said that he is second to Sean Long as the best half-back in the country."

Salford City Reds need to cash Myler in now, I would have thought the Warrington Wolves would be willing to pay in the region of £250,000 for the England International...
So all that remains to be said is all the best Richard Myler when you take your leave from the Willows....

Steve Blakeley went to Warrington a few years ago and was back before you could blink.
