Charlestown lose final on penalties

CHARLESTOWN CYC lost to Sale 5-3 on penalties after the Manchester FA Sunday Shield final had ended 1-1.

A Danny Cahoon hat-trick inspired Irlam Tiger to a 6-2 victory over Fox and Hounds. Garth Randall also scored three times as his Clarendon side overcame Lamp Oil 5-1 in Division Three.

Mark United moved joint top of Division Four following a 5-2 win at AFC Langworthy. Goals by Peter Brickhill (3) and Darren Gorman (2) gave Clarendon Dons a 5-3 success at Irlam Rangers.
