KEVIN Davies gave Bolton a double boost after the Reebok bore draw.
Davies failed to finish the game after a tasty first half tackle from Joey Barton but he expects to be fit for Saturday's trip to Middlesbrough.
And by then, he should have put pen to paper on a new deal.
Asked when he was going to sign a new three-and-a-half year contract, Davies said: "Monday, hopefully."
Bolton boss, Sam Allardyce, claimed Barton "raked" Davies' leg.
"It went through the sock and the strapping. There is a massive scare down his Achilles," said Sam.
"The referee gave him no protection and didn't even give him a free kick."
Allardyce is still waiting to clinch the signing of Birmingham midfielder David Dunn.
"Hopefully next week we will have a conclusion to David's transfer," he said.
The ex-Blackburn star is waiting for a scan on his back. If he passes the medical, Bolton are expected to pay é1.75m depending on appearances.
