STEVE Foster Junior’s Christmas wish has been granted with his WBO Super Featherweight title fight against Essex boy Nicky Cook having been rescheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2009.

The Salford boxer was gutted when Cook pulled out of their original fight night with flu earlier this month.

And Foster Junior, aged 28, is delighted that his world title dream is back on track.

Foster Junior’s dad, Steve ‘The Viking’ Foster, said: "Being given a new date for the Cook fight is the Christmas present that Steve was hoping for."

The fight will be held somewhere in London with Enzo Maccarinelli taking on Johnathon Banks for the vacant WBO Cruiserweight title on the same bill.
