Owners of a mill which hosted this month's Iraqi election polling station have confirmed Salford residents will not have to foot the bill.
Newton Mill on Lees Street, Swinton, hosted the three-day election on March 5-7. More than 10,000 Iraqi citizens used the polling station which caused disruption for residents in the area.
But firm Vanguard, who own Newton Mill, has confirmed the Iraqi High Commission will pay for the police who were called in to oversee the event.
