Police have discovered a drugs haul, including 500 ecstasy tablets, following a raid on a house.
Hundreds of tablets and 24 bags of cannabis were seized from the property on Kennedy Road, Weaste, Salford, on Thursday.
Officers acted following a tip off from members of the public. A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing class A and class B drugs and bailed until March 5 pending further inquiries.
PC Mike Hart said: "I hope we have sent out a strong message that we listen to and act on concerns raised by the community, we are committed to washing our streets clean of drugs. Drugs cause untold misery to our communities and we also believe that discoveries like this will help our fight against other crimes."
