A dog was saved by firefighters after it got stuck down an embankment yesterday.

The dog was unable to climb back up the river embankment itself after falling down at around 3.15pm close to the park near Chatterton Road, Stubbins.

Firefighters arrived, after the dog's owner had dialled 999, and pulled it to safety. Tweet
