A car and a lorry collided in Haslingden this morning - causing delays for motorists.

Police were called to Todd Hall Road at around 10.30am.

The female driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

It is thought black ice caused the vehicles to collide.

Police said gritters were sent out and the Highways Agency also attended.
