A Salford man was today due to appear in court charged with the murder of a missing man from Rochdale.

Paul Brady was last seen getting into a van in Bacup, Lancashire, on 1 August last year.

Mark Azzopardi, 40, from Rocket Way, Salford, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to kidnap. He was expected to appear at Burnley magistrates this morning.

A 34-year-old man from Padiham has previously been charged with the father-of-four's murder.

A man, 37, from Stockport, has previously been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and a woman, 27, of Padiham, has been accused of assisting an offender.

Mr Brady worked as a site manager and went missing after visiting a housing development in Weir.]
