Mrs Sheila Gregory, of Myrtle Grove, Haslingden, died on Saturday, January 28, at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 75.

Sheila came from Radcliffe to Helmshore just after her marriage to Brian and worked in the family business ‘Gregory’s Bargains’ in Helmshore for more than 20 years.

She was a former member of the Helmshore Townswomens’ Guild and a member and supporter of St Veronica’s RC Church.

She leaves her husband Brian, three children Peter, Stephen and Patricia, daughters-in-law Christine and Lisa, grandchildren Amy, Joshua, Carolina, David, Robert and Aaron, great-grandchildren Amelia and Finlay, brother Thomas and sisters Mary and Elizabeth and their families.

The funeral will take place on Friday, February 3 with service at the Pleasant Street Chapel of Rest, Haslingden at 10am.

This will be followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery officiated by Father John Mackie.
