As an ex Rossendalian who has tramped the hills and grown up in the area, I would have liked to have seen more photos which include shots of the Valley taken from the vantage points such as the Deerplay Inn, Goodshawfold Old Road, behind Molly Ring, shots taken from Bacup Rec. ( which is a superb for views down the Valley).
Also the hills above Hall Carr give another different view point . There were none of the walk by the Irwell at the Groundwork Trust by New Hall Hey.
Nor of the Steam Train ELR.
If there are other photos which are in your archives, I apologise and would like to receive the link if I have missed it!

pictures over &over again ?when their are so many other
beautiful places out there.
Views of areas such as Cowpe,
the Glen & Edenfield are among
many of the beautilul places I
have seen ,areas of the country
side ( & their is lots ) would be
appreciated I,m sure by others
& myself.

I note that on www.rossendaleonline.co.uk that there are over 600 images of Rossendale old and new.
