Horton moved for the striker 12 months ago, but Richardson chose to move to Yeovil. But the Macc boss finally got his man last week when the 28-year-old joined from Chester on loan with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.
"It's a great incentive when the manager tries to sign you twice and its up to me to reward the faith he has put in me," said Richardson. "Now I want to stay here next season and be part of Macclesfield's plans."
