TWO 12-YEAR-OLD boys have been charged with raping a severely disabled man.
The pair, who cannot be identified because of their age, appeared at Rochdale Magistrates Court on Wednesday in connection with a series of alleged sex attacks on a man with severe learning difficulties, who is also deaf.
The alleged victim informed his social worker who then alerted police.
The alleged incidents are said to have taken place on 5 May, 11 June and 28 August last year in south Rochdale.
One of the boys faces two counts of rape and two of committing a serious sexual offence against a man who was unable to refuse because of his mental disorder. The other faces one count of rape and two of committing a serious sexual assault.
They will appear in court again on 28 September when they will be committed for trial at Crown Court. They have been given unconditional bail.
