Copper piping worth almost £3,000 was stolen during a spree of break-ins between Friday February 19 and Saturday.
Burglars caused £4,000 damage when they ripped up floorboards to strip an unoccupied house in Ada Street, Foxholes, of £800 of copper piping between midnight on Friday February 19 and Thursday.
Newbold SureStart Centre was targeted between 7pm and 8.30pm on Saturday, when £2,000, of copper piping, three reels of electric cable worth £780, a Makita chop saw worth £700, three red Makita batteries worth £180, a battery charger worth £60 and a Makita battery worth £60 were stolen.
Thieves also caused £500 of damage to the heating system of a house in Edmund Street, Spotland, when they stole £20 of copper piping between 12.30am and 11pm on Friday.

They are ripping us off and robbing us blind everywhere else just thought this might be part of the same asset stripping and daylight robbery they have imposed on the long suffering residents of this town since they started 'running' the Council ?
