A taxi driver was robbed of £70 cash and a mobile phone by a pair of thieves who he picked up in Joy Street, Syke at 8.15pm on Sunday.
One of the offenders grabbed the 45-year-old victim by the throat, while his accomplice rifled through his pockets.
The first suspect is described as a white man aged between 16 and 18, of slim build, wearing a navy blue hoodie and Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
The second suspect is described as a white man aged between 16 and 17, of slim build, wearing a dark hoodie.

The sad thing is the driver probably didnt want to pick up in Syke as certain parts are well known for attacks of this nature,morelikely he needed the job to earn a crust!!!
The cowards who commited this act are descriptive of many people in Rochdale, god knows how GMP are going to find the culprits among the tracksuit/shellsuit wearing brigade of the town !!
