Seven-month-old twins were taken to Rochdale Infirmary on Saturday night after inhaling fumes following a fire at their home in Healey.

Fire crews from Littleborough and Heywood were called to their house in Gandy Lane when an oil-filled mobile heater sparked a fire.

The blaze was out before firefighters arrived.

The little boy and girl were uninjured, but were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution. They were released later the same night following treatment.
