A Smallbridge resident has had his entertainment system confiscated for the second time in less than two months.
Michael Lilley, aged 20, was originally reported to the council at the start of December for playing his music so loudly that it made the ornaments on his neighbours' mantelpieces shake.
He was given a warning, but after breaching the noise limit twice in just over two weeks he had his stereo and speakers seized by environmental health officers.
Despite removing the sound system the council continued to receive complaints and officers witnessed music blaring from his house in Henderson Street at the start of February.
Rochdale magistrates issued another warrant on 5 February for the removal of all additional items, including two televisions, a TV/DVD player, a Freeview box, PlayStation2, ipod docking station, CD player and speakers.
Andy Glover, public protection manager at Rochdale Council, said: "Mr Lilley has clearly not learnt his lesson.
'It's totally unacceptable to ignore our warnings and continue to cause such a disruption to his neighbours' lives.
"But he's suffered twice as much now for his inconsiderate behaviour.
'Hopefully now he'll realize that we're serious about taking action against people who are causing an annoyance in our communities."
Mr Lilley will have to apply to the council in writing and faces a hefty bill of £1,249.14 to reclaim his property, which be kept in storage for a minimum of 28 days.
Ted Flynn, cabinet member for community safety, added: "I fully support the council using its power to improve the quality of life for local residents who are suffering noisy neighbours. Let this be a lesson to others who think that being inconsiderate has no consequences."

Another example of people having a total lack of respect for others in the community, and a total disregard for anyone except themselves.

Nearly 4 years I have had to put up with my NFH and her parties, late night music going into morning, blaring tvs, unruly kids playing football banging against the fence with it. Running around the house screaming, shouting, slamming doors etc. The list is endless.
I have made numerous complaints and got numerous Police logs.
They have finally pulled their head out of their backsides and now an ABC is in place.
This is only due to the ASB unit getting involved as well as my local Councillor.
We have had to constanly harass them into doing something about her.
The same night the ABC had been signed she started her music up again.
It'll be interesting to see what they will do when I report it on Monday.
