AFTER spending the past two years perfecting their experimental rock sound The Hidden Revolution have clinched a deal with independent label Fat Northerner Records.

Set to release their debut double a-side single Nightmares and Conscience in March, The Hidden Revolution are planning on increase their army of fans, continuing to attract bigger audiences with a succession of live performances leading up to the release.

Believing they have an exciting and enduring quality of music able to outlast the latest fads the band are hoping that they can use their passion to push on to the bigger stages that their sound deserves.

Influenced by The Police, Smashing Pumpkins, Bjork and Paulie Wallnuts - The Hidden Revolution comprise of Chris Wise, vocals and guitar; Dale Harrop, guitar; Ian Sanderson, bass and Jon Clarke; drums.

Spending time perfecting their craft by gaining experience both in the UK and overseas the band have a mixture musical expertise.

Bass player Ian has already spent time touring America with a former band, while Dale has developed both jazz and classic guitar styles and drummer Johnny stepped into uncharted territory performing with a brass band.

And with this diverse mix of mix of musical experience frontman Chris' 'eccentric and shiver-inducing vocal style' has been described as the perfect match for the band's 'expansive soundscape, choppy riffs, driving beats, and haunting melodies'.
