THE Sticks are continuing their rise towards the dizzy heights of stardom fronting a new Puma campaign.

The top cats of sport discovered the Sticks back in June after been blown away by their ‘upbeat melee of indie, rock and punk influenced tunes’.

Feeling that the band were destined for bigger and better things Puma selected the Sticks to play a support slot at a special Hadouken gig and have now booked them to play at their

Puma store in the Arndale centre spreading their sound to Manchester shoppers.

The Sticks will be playing two slots on Saturday 8 August, the first at 12noon and the second at 4pm and it’s all completely free.

There is also a proposed Puma commercial in the pipeline for the Sticks; and with the band already playing to crowds of over 17,000 alongside the Fratellis and the Happy Mondays, it seems like it could be a rare chance to see the Sticks up close and personal before they join the indie premier league.
