How come of late i.e. the last two transfer windows, it has taken us an age to get any transfer business done? Look at Chelsea and Ba and Liverpool and Sturridge in this window, their transfers were done in the blink of an eye. I firmly laid the blame at Brian Marwoods door for messing up in last summers window, I mean he managed to miss all of Mancini's main targets and we ended up with what feels like a load of second rate panic buys on the last day of that window. I was led to believe that amongst other things a big reason why we had added the two spanish ex Barca guys to the management team was to sort out our transfers. So were is the action, what is going on? I doubt we will sign anyone in this window unfortunately, which is a shame 'cause we need to. An outstanding goal getter is a must. It loathes me to say this but Van doodle dar has made all the difference to the rags. It does not take a genius to see that without him they would be second in the league to us now and thats defo......we must get a proven goal scorer in this window or it could be curtains for the league this year. Our strikers are good but none of them could be classed as a prolific goal scorer.
