He always wanted to play for City but he asked for too much and thought he was irreplaceable. Those of us there, saw he is still smarting from his decision to leave when he came on as a substitute for Chelsea in the Charity Shield game and was roundly booed big time. His head dropped and he was visibly upset at being lambasted. In his last games at Chelsea he was also booed by their fans more and more when he came on or lost the ball...again. Talented but overrated. Where have we heard that before?.
