Wilf McGuinness worked along side Sir Matt, well virtually, and that didn't work and neither will bringing in anyone else to work along side Sir Alex. Whoever you want as his replacement be it either Jose or Pep or David Moyes would they, managers of experience, be willing to work along side him and what would be the point if after Sir Alex steps down they change everything that they didn't agree with to the way they want things to run. Might as well give them the reigns to begin with instead of creating a possible double start.
