I said at the time of signing these keepers that we should make one of them our No. 1 and not rotate them as has happened in the past which proved to be a big mistake. I can't quite believe that the same mistake is happening again. The difference with Peter and Edwin was there to see by all.
That said we are top by 6 points despite both keepers making mistakes. But every keeper makes a bloomer from time to time and it is not just down to the goalie for clean sheets.
Joe from the other side of town is an excellent keeper for me but is prone to a blip here and there, but he has been outstanding and has earned the right to a blip or two.
But to be United's no 1 you have to be good enough and I still think David is good enough but he needs an extended run without the fear that his next mistake could cost him dear.(hey that rhymes)
A sound defence and a tough tackling no nonsense good passer of a MF that covers every blade of grass would also help. As mentioned in a previous thread.
