Paul i agree! With Nani, Scholes and Giggs likely being gone by seasons end, i would personally like to see us sign Rodriguez, and Sandro (although thats unlikely to happen as Spurs will demand an unrealistic price).

Jack Wilshere would be the player top of my list, probably the nearest thing to Scholes out there, but a lot will depend on the asking price, Wenger's situation, and the lads loyalty to the club!
