I might add that, all the best wingers can be known for their ability to run directly at defenders and keep them constantly on the back foot. Players like Overmars, Giggs and Figo did it and even the Skillful ones like Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar run directly players giving them little time to think or cover up space. Nani hardly ever runs at the full back but stops d ball and try to invite a challenge so that he can TRY to beat the player. Thereby allowing other defenders to be able to get back into position and cover the strikers who were expecting a quick ball in. It happens almost every time we run a counter attack with Nani.
