Interesting to see that £71 million was paid paid to agents by premier league clubs in the period Oct 2010 to Sept 2011. City were the highest payers with £9.6 million closely followed by Liverpool with £9 million. United were 6th on £4.4 million.
In the period Oct 2008-Sept 2010 £67 million was paid. Liverpool were highest with £7 million, City 3rd with £5.9 million and United 13th with £2.3 million.
So that's £138 million paid out to agents in 3 years, with Liverpool paying the most with £16 million, City second with £15.6 million and United with a paltry £6.8 million!
It would seem some clubs are quite happy to pay ridiculous fees to so called agents.
