Gerard, I agree with some of what you say,but I can never forgive the Glazers because of all the revenues that have been wasted and hoisted on the club by these parasites.It is 550 million minimum that has been spent needlessly following somebody's greedy business aspirations.
I do not think any of us are so naive as to think whoever owned United would have taken nothing out of the club.If they had bought the club in the conventional manner,i.e. having most of the funds in place without burdening our club with the debt,well good luck to them,that is normal business practice.
When you mention FFP I presume we will still be burdened by the debt,which will reduce the amount we can invest on players.Which in effect means we will still not be punching our true weight.The new business streams you say the Glazers have opened,I am 100% sure any business organisation or individual would have achieved exactly the same results.The name alone ensures a massive demand to invest in the Manchester United brand..
The one thing I am not confident about , If these new / renewable sources of revenue are huge.Am I sure the leeches would rid us of our debt? the answer is in the negative.
