Maicon was rightly regarded as the best right wingback of his generation for many years and is hardly washed up at 31. A seasoned international with Brazil and with vast experience of winning trophies at the highest level it was ridiculous for anyone to suggest it was a bad signing, especially for three million.......A great signing.
