If Chicarito starts the next game I forecast he'll be off by the 70th minute. It doesn't appear to me that SAF?Phelan have realized yet how and when Chicarito has been successful.
He's not good in the slow build up play. He's better than he was but still can't hold the ball up well. He still can't dribble round a lamp post. What he can do is score in the 6 yard box. His quickness and reaction puts him that foot or so ahead of the defender. This happens when United are pumping the ball into the box because, usually, they are behind - they are the team doing the consistent pressing of the opposition's defense.
For some reason they don't seem to want to do this until they get behind and they have tp pressurize the other team. That's when Chicaarito comes into play. Open play, slow build up, forget it. All action, consstant pressure on defense, then he's your man.
