I used to enjoy watching Ian play: had a touch of class just as things were starting to improve in the darkest days.

This story reminds me of an interview I read with a recent ex-United player who had the same rumours about him (we all know who). He's married actually, and said how he could issue a strong denial about these rumours but made the point that it would just send out completely the wrong messag instead he took the approach of "I'm not, but so what if I was?". He went right up in my estimation when I read that. If only we could have more of that attitude in football, particularly on the terraces.
