I will be voting, but only to spoil the ballot paper. It is a disgrace that Politicians are arranging to have political control over the Police.

Democracy, what democracy. They are taking the first steps to making it a Police state with state control.

There is already adequate supervision by the Police Committees, comprised of a mixture of Councillors, Magistrates and Lay people in equal measure.
