Let's not forget what kicked it all off. There's plenty of questions that still need to be answered about that.
Couldn't aggree more Idroid, I don't subscribe to the do-gooders appology for the riots namely: unemployment, urban deprivation etc. After all the Geordie men from Jarrow had all that and more on their plates but they didn't hit the streets, they hit the road and a long one at that to the capital! Yes over the last 40 odd years a whole generation and more have been procured without the discipline, self respect, decency, family morals and you name it as the rest of us have and let's admit these persons are game for rioting/looting with little or no justification. However, there's a red rag to a bull incident which kicked this off - police cack-handedness in shooting Mr Duggan, when they quite easily could have brought him out alive!! Sometimes some moronic police need reminding what their purpose is, who pays their wages and who they are meant to serve. I am in NO way condoning the riots, only some people in authority need to buck their ideas up or they could happen again!
