Mr Stewart, You say: "from next month, every person living in Salford would be asked for their ideal vision of their city if money were no object. Those views will then be fed into a three-year masterplan, launched early in 2013."

As it has taken you from May to August to come up with this 'radical' initiative how do you think you are going to put together the views that will come from this and have it ready for early 2013? It has taken this Local Authority over two years to recognise that there would be a problem with school places and still they are dithering about it. No clear, coherent policy has come out of that dilemma so how does he think he is going to cope with the diverse views from the people of Salford, Eccles, Worsley, Walkden, Swinton etc. within 4 months especially using staff who are already overworked because of the paring down of jobs??

By the time he gets something sorted it will be time for re-election!!
