Team GB have raised most of the UK's spirits at a time when we are all affected by the recession. All the athletes in the Team worked so hard and made me feel a sense of pride in the UK that I haven't felt for a long time. I can't be the only person who feels this way.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the games, and seeing the pride on the faces of the medal winners has been priceless! They have all done us proud!

I am certain all of the people who took part in the games, won medals and made world records and personal bests would be delighted to come home to a very warm welcome from their home town.

Not often we get the opportunity to raise the roof and give thanks for our home grown hero and heroines!

Bring out the bunting and the ginger beer!!!!
