Don't play the little Manc. It's only 35 miles from Piccadilly to the Pier Head, for heaven's sake, and we're all part of the same region - or did move here after the invention of Greater Manchester, and take it too seriously? For parts of Wigan, Liverpool is actually nearer, anyway.
