Immigration shouldn't make any difference to this argument. Jobs need to pay a wage which allows people to live without drawing state benefits. How many jobs there are to go round and how many people there are applying for them is irrelevant. The only difference that should make is in the quality and commitment of the staff recruited - so employers should still be on to a winner because they have so many candidates to choose from.
