Looks a competent enough 'keeper and may find himself taking the number one position from De Gea if the Spaniard drops early clangers that cost us points. To have any chance of doing that,he will of course,need to be available for selection - yet another who had his fair share of injuries last season.. Are we into another spell where we alternate the keepers like we did some years ago I recall with Tim Howard and a couple of others ? We really need a long term successor to van De Saar as the backbone of a stable defence.
